Long years of experience have led Ghidini Group to develop advanced production facilities, revolutionizing the processes of color handles thanks to technology GHI.CO.TEC (Ghidini Coating tecnology). By means of a cataphoresis process, GHI.CO.TEC. deposits resins on metal and they adhere to it through an eletric field which is generated in the bath tank where the pieces are dipped; with a further klin step, the resin hardens and the piece takes the definite look.

For the most demanding customers Ghidini has developed 'Ghidini G-Plus' a special coating with a hardened surface which can be compared to steel, which is resistant to external atmospheric agents and which can be placed externally even in saline fog. Thanks to the inalterability of protection, the brass colour brightness doesn’t change and an unlimited guarantee due to protection which goes even beyond the limit guarantee foreseen by the law.

For the mechanical function of the Ghidini handles, fully surpass the tests of the European regulations EN 1906. The handles was tested with special equipment that simulate the complete cycle of the handle that is open and close with a result of 280,000 cycles completed.

We attribute the Ghidini considerable credit for his projects, such as the project of Leonardo handle that opened a new world and new possibilities. Leonardo handle determines the elegant shape of the handle and makes it possibile to grip it at different heights, facilitating the taking for children, elderly and disabled. The project for its significant importance, has got a high exposure and therefore a commendable prize to Expocon 2004 (in Italy).
